Employment law where the employer, the employee and the work are in three different jurisdictions is a different discipline from domestic practice — and it is exactly where the corridor pays off.
We draft and review employment agreements, advise on non-competes and restrictive covenants, and handle disputes on dismissal, discrimination and workplace conduct.
We also advise the company side on internal policy: what has to be in the employee handbook in the Netherlands, and what can be enforced in Ukraine.
- Employment Contracts: Drafting and reviewing employment agreements, non-compete clauses, and severance packages.
- Workplace Disputes: Handling disputes related to wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment.

Do you advise employers or employees?
Employers, and their directors, on employment terms, restructuring of the workforce, and disputes when they arrive. We also advise on the Dutch position where a matter runs across several jurisdictions.
How is a dismissal handled in the Netherlands?
There is a formal route and a ground has to exist for it, and the notice given has to match the stated reason. Getting the reason and the notice right at the outset is what decides whether a dismissal survives review.
Can you review a contract before it is signed?
Yes, and that is usually the cheapest moment to do it. A review before signature changes one document; the same issue found after signature has to be handled with a counterparty already committed.
