Training course development

Legal training built for practitioners — for companies, law firms and professional bodies.

What this covers
  • Training needs analysis and curriculum map
  • Lecture materials with source law and case materials
  • Exercise and assessment design
  • Video recording and online course production
  • In-house delivery for companies and professional bodies
  • Annual update with new legislation and case law

Legal training works when it is built around the decisions people actually face in their own files. We design courses from our own practice: the same judgement we exercise in a client matter, in the same language, with the same rigour.

Every course is built from scratch — a programme map, lecture materials with the source law and case materials, exercises and an assessment that shows where the gaps are. When the law moves, we update the course rather than resell an old version.

We deliver in-house for a company or a bar association, and online for a wider audience. Where the subject is our own practice — sanctions, international criminal law, maritime law — the course carries the same position we take in a client matter.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you build courses from scratch or adapt existing material?

From scratch. We start with the decisions the audience actually makes, then build the programme, the materials and the exercises around them. Existing material is used only where it is sound and only with the author permission.

Can the course be delivered in-house?

Yes. In-house delivery is usually the stronger option for a company: the course is adapted to your sector, your contracts and your exposure, and questions are answered against your own files.

How often is the material updated?

Annually, and immediately when a change in the law makes the old version unsafe to teach. We keep the source law and case materials in the course, so an update is a change of pages rather than a new course.
