- Monitoring of regulatory change
For a Ukrainian company operating in Europe, the regulator is often the first counterparty it does not have a lawyer for.
We prepare the submission, negotiate the position, and keep the record — so that the outcome survives the next review rather than the next meeting.
This is the practice area where the corridor is most directly useful: we already know which authority decides what, and how the Ukrainian side of the file is read.

What does government relations mean in practice here?
It means knowing which body is responsible for what, what a submission has to contain before it is read, and which questions actually get an answer. We work with clients dealing with authorities; we do not appear as counsel to a state body.
Can you get a licence or a decision faster?
Sometimes the timeline is genuinely driven by the authority rather than by the file. Where that is the case we look at what can be pre-empted — an incomplete submission is the usual reason for a slow answer, and that part is under your control.
How do you charge for this kind of work?
Either a fixed scope for a defined piece of work, or a retainer for ongoing representation. The retainer works better when the authorities are a recurring presence in your business rather than a one-off event.
